What is DynamicWeb PIM?
DynamicWeb was founded in Aarhus, Denmark, in 1999 and built its business around commerce and content software for Microsoft Dynamics customers. In February 2025 SignUp Software, a Swedish Microsoft ISV, announced the acquisition of DynamicWeb, which then had around 1,500 customers and 175 partners. In January 2026 the group launched the Truvio brand, uniting SignUp Software (ExFlow, Axtension), SKSoft and DynamicWeb with more than 480 employees and 5,000 customers.
The PIM handles product data, variants, inheritance, grid editing and asset management, and publishes to e-commerce, print via DynamicWeb Publications and EasyCatalog, marketplaces through Channable and ChannelAdvisor, and data pools such as GS1 and Icecat. Its main differentiator is depth on the Microsoft stack: dedicated connectors cover Business Central, Finance and Operations, NAV and AX, and an accelerated PIM integration for Business Central was launched in November 2025.
The platform is cloud-based with version-less upgrades and can be deployed as stand-alone PIM or within the full suite. AI support includes an OpenAI-based assistant and built-in translation. Pricing is quote-based.
strengths
- Deep Microsoft Dynamics integration, including a dedicated PIM for Business Central and connectors for Finance and Operations, NAV and AX.
- PIM, B2B commerce and CMS on a single platform, which reduces integration work for B2B webshops.
- Built-in print output through DynamicWeb Publications and an EasyCatalog link to Adobe InDesign.
- Cloud delivery with version-less upgrades and autoscaling.
- Backing of the Truvio group and its Dynamics partner channel.
considerations
- The strongest fit is Microsoft-centric; buyers on SAP or other ERPs should validate connector depth.
- ETIM and BMEcat support is not documented on the PIM product page.
- AI features are less extensive than at PIM-specialist vendors and rely on an OpenAI integration.
- The 2025 acquisition and 2026 Truvio rebrand may affect roadmap and branding; ask about product continuity commitments.
