What is ATAMYA Product Cloud (successor to the eggheads Suite)?
ATAMYA GmbH, formerly eggheads GmbH, is registered in Bochum. It was founded in 1990 and traded as eggheads for most of its history, selling the eggheads Suite PIM. The company introduced the ATAMYA brand with its new cloud product in 2024, announced the rebrand of the whole company on 2 April 2025 to reflect a cloud-first strategy, and completed the change of legal name in May 2025. It has an office in Munich and a Swiss subsidiary in Zurich.
ATAMYA Product Cloud is a cloud-native, API-first and headless platform built on MACH principles. It covers product data management, multi-domain data, syndication, content enrichment, user and workflow management with a BPMN engine, and a marketplace of connectors. ERP connectors for SAP and Microsoft Dynamics are listed, alongside commerce connectors for Shopware, commercetools and Emporix and DAM links to pixx.io and Cloudinary. Classification support covers BMEcat, ETIM, ECLASS and UNSPSC.
The AI layer, branded Agentic PIM, is the main differentiator: a Smart Import Agent for supplier data onboarding, content generation, translation and quality automation, orchestrated in workflows with optional human review. In February 2026 partner netcare published a load test scaling the platform from 100,000 to 10 million SKUs. Forrester named ATAMYA a Notable Vendor in its Product Information Management Systems Landscape, Q3 2026. Customer references include Wilo, CHRIST, Steiff and Baier & Schneider.
